Apparently, the person who put together NaNoBloMo, has changed it to NaBloPoMo, and it’s no longer in November, it’s all the time? Every month? I don’t know, I was confused. But I don’t like that it’s all the time. I would rather have it be special and seasonal, you know, one-month-only, supplies-are-limited, call-now-operators-are-standing-by… So I’m just going to do it the way I was planning to do it (one blog post each day in November), and call it NaNoBloMo, and be happy.

I only have 11 more minutes to finish this post. I procrastinated a little bit. So I’m not sure what to write about. Maybe Halloween, since that just happened. My costume (Ash, the Pokemon trainer) rocked. I was very pleased with the way it turned out. The problem: My camera isn’t working very well since I dropped it in the river, and the only picture I have is on my mom’s camera… but I don’t have a card reader to get that picture onto this blog. I went to a party at the Oakland chapel near the temple. People were coming out of the temple at the time. I love the counterpoint – restored gospel on one side of the parking lot, pagan rituals on the other… When I got to the party, there were about 7 people there, and the lights were too bright. On the way home, I had to stop at a 7-11 because I felt SICK. You know it’s bad when you’re thinking of lying down on the floor in the bathroom at a 7-11.

What’s that, you say? Why are you only writing about the beginning of the party and the end of the party? What about the middle of the party? Well, dear readers, I wouldn’t want to bore you with the details. I know you don’t want to hear about the crazy things those crazy kids do at their crazy singles dances. (Did I ever tell you about the talent show? The one where the guy got up and read his sex poetry? No? Remind me to tell you about that some time.)
